Cancellation Within 24 Hours of Booking: We understand plans may change. If you cancel your ticket within 24 hours of booking, no cancellation fees will be charged.
Cancellation After 24 Hours: For cancellations made after 24 hours from the time of booking, a nominal cancellation fee will be applicable.
Refund Requests: Refund requests are considered under the following conditions:
- Cancellation and refund application submitted, and fare rules permit refunds.
- You are not classified as a “no show” (Note: Most “no show” bookings are ineligible for waivers from suppliers).
- We can secure waivers from suppliers for the requested cancellation and refund.
Refund Processing Timeline:
- We are unable to provide a specific timeline for refund processing.
- Once you submit a cancellation request, we’ll send you an acknowledgment email with a tracking number.
- This acknowledgment does not automatically qualify you for a refund but acknowledges receipt of your request.
- We work with suppliers (airlines, hotels, car-rental companies) to obtain waivers based on their rules.
- Upon supplier approval, we’ll notify you of their decision.
- Our service fees associated with the original reservation are non-refundable.
Credit Card Statement:
- Once approved by the supplier, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.
- Suppliers typically impose penalties for refunds.
- The entire process, from request receipt to credit on your statement, may take 30-60 days.
- Wanderer Buddy may charge a post-ticketing service fee, per-passenger, per-ticket, applicable when the airline/supplier rules permit refunds.
- If the supplier does not process the refund, we will refund our post-ticketing service fees but not our original booking fees.
